Community-based festivals like this one rely on the kindness and energy of volunteers and keep these festivals alive. Volunteers get to be part of a vibrant community event, as well as various thank you events along the way. We offer electrical hook-ups for campers as well as camping in the rough. Campsites and electrical hook-ups are on a first come basis.
We have an incredible lineup with lots of special events planned and we anticipate our largest crowd ever. Bluegrass Today Profiles
Guests can participate as Chili and Cornbread “Tasters” . Primary consideration is given to a student’s community/school involvement, academic standing, and work history. All 6 wineries are a pleasant 20 minute drive from Canberra and will be open 10am to 5pm Sat & Sun.

Please do not bring alcohol or coolers in to the main concert area. Dr. Ralph Stanely’s Hill Of Home happens in Virginia on Memorial Day Weekend, and is one of the nation’s oldest Bluegrass festivals in the United States. In fact it’s one of the TOP 3 oldest festivals and next month it’s in it’s 48th annual festival.

Since we're celebrating the 50th Anniversary of this festival we have an expanded line-up and will be starting the festival on Wednesday. As well as plenty of music to entertain you, there will be stalls adding colour and flavour to the event. Plenty of other cafes and food options are also available in the area.

I do a LOT of research for this portion of my website. Donna and her band really know how to connect with the audience. Black Hills Film Festival
We encourage you to observe parking restriction signs. All events are subject to change due to weather or other concerns. Please check with the venue or organization to ensure an event is taking place as scheduled. This year’s event will also feature the inaugural Chili & Cornbread Cook-Off. Pumpkins will be available at the Pumpkin Patch and concessions will be available for purchase from Ms. Piggy’s.

Bookings are advisable for those who wish to have a sit down lunch otherwise platters, tapas and casual nibbles are available for those on a ‘moving feast’ journey. If you’re interested, we will have a sign up sheet at the stage area Wednesday afternoon. There will be 30-minute slots available, first come first serve. (If you arrive for camping prior to Wednesday the charge for electric will be $50 for the week / weekend.) Golf carts are welcome; no four wheelers.
